Young Leaders program is ideally suited to those interested in world issues and perfecting their English and in developing skills of critical thinking and debating. This course is open for ages 14 to 18 and is aimed at students with Upper Intermediate to Advanced level of English.

1. Young Leaders London in the heart of Oxford

Course Overview

The syllabus comprises theory lessons, interactive lectures, project research and real-life case studies provide a stimulating and varied learning experience.

The programme aims to:
  • Build language skills and confidence in public speaking and presentation English.
  • Challenge students in time management scenarios and tasks.
  • Develop negotiation, debating and leadership skills through a series of practical lessons.
  • Gain a better understanding of global English and its application for their future learning
2. MINI MBA for age 15-17
Course Overview:

Introduction to Management
This unit forms the core of the course and provides students with the skills, vocabulary, knowledge, confidence and technique to analyse business texts and reports from newspapers, debate global business issues, prepare projects, research company case studies and give presentations.

Accounting
This unit aims to provide an introduction to basic accounting knowledge for the financial statement analysis.
Entrepreneurship
This unit will include the concept of entrepreneurship and finding opportunities.
Organisations
We will look at the tradition of organisational development and how this has affected modern day leadership and management in business organisations.

Marketing
This unit will involve a mixture of lectures, discussions and short case studies for analysis in class to give you an insight into some of the issues and tools in marketing for the 21st century.

Business at Work (including visits)
This unit is only offered on the 3 week course and gives students an opportunity to visit different types of operational businesses for a better understanding of a day-to-day production and management.
3. Leadership program Boston for age 14-18
Course Overview:

Leadership program Boston is focused on general business and leadership. The base of the course is Business English combined with project work and guest lectures. The Curriculum will focus on:
  • Writing professional emails
  • Practicing phone and conference skills
  • Giving presentation using Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Formal and informal business writing
  • Useful language for business meetings and negotiations
  • Basic business vocabulary
  • Discussing case studies from successful companies

    The GLS summer camp is a unique international place where you meet people from all over the world. As we are big basketball fans, we enjoyed the variety of sports offered on site. It was August and hot but we could swim every day. The camp BBQ at night on the lake was great fun.
